Christmas Charity
Each year we try to support a different charity in the lead up to Christmas – this year we have chosen Off the Fence and hope to raise enough to provide them with the Bibles they will need in 2012.
For every £1 donated – Books Alive will donate the equivalent

‘How we use the Bible over the year.
Over the period of one year OFF THE FENCE give out over 500 Bibles a majority of them are given to the homeless, we have over 50 come to our daily centre and they have time to read and think. It is a wonderful experience to talk through what parts of the Bible they have been reading and then see them arrive at the Bible study group we run.
We also give them to some of the School children, we run 21 sessions in each week in local schools, it again is a wonderful thing to see young people asking and reading the Bible. In our everyday Ministry we meet so many people from every walk of life that have never owned a Bible, once again we offer a Bible.
Last Christmas all our Council leaders received a Bible from us. We believe as a Christian organisation that the word of God can turn this City around, a very big Thank you to Books Alive partnering this year with us, to change this City.’
