Christian Books for Schools
CB4S (Christian Books For Schools) is a charitable project we set up in 2006 to raise funds to donate Christian books into local schools.
Not every school has the budget to be able to place a good range, especially of Christian books into their libraries. It is our belief that every child should have the opportunity to read good christian literature.
The fund has been used to supply local schools with Teacher training material, material to support KS1/KS2 Curriculum and books for the school library.
Foy £2 donated Books Alive contributes the equivalent of £1.
Schools supported to date include:
Aldrington Junior School, Hove
Portslade Infants School, Portslade
St Nicholas CofE Junior School, Portslade
Somerhill Junior School, Hove
Davigdor First School, Hove
Goldstone Junior School, Hangleton
Whitehawk Primary School, Whitehawk
We are hoping to raise £1000 in 2010.
